Uda Diyaluma Waterfall

Uda Diyaluma waterfall, a true gem nestled within the enchanting landscape of Sri Lanka, is a high sight to behold. It is one of the highest waterfalls in the country.

I was lucky to explore this breath taking waterfall with my husband and my other co workers in 2019. Not knowing that the decision to visit this place would not be a waste of time.  We reached the waterfall after a hike that  took around 45 minutes. Along this hike, we crossed streams , tea plantations, and a scenic landscape before reaching the stunning Uda Diyaluma waterfall. 

Uda Diyaluma is a very popular tourist attraction and people visiting this area engage in various activities to enjoy the natural beauty and serene atmosphere. 

Activities that you can plan for your visit to Uda Diyaluma:

1.    Hiking- Visitors can indulge in hiking trails that lead to the top of the Uda Diyaluma Falls. The hike offers breath-taking views of the surrounding landscapes and allows you to witness the waterfall from different angles.

4.    Bathing-  The Uda Diyaluma waterfalls offers natural pool that you can have a swim in the cold water. But caution is always advised.
